In an editorial that appeared in the Friday, Feb. 1, edition of the Rockford Register Star, praised the announced partnership between Rosecrance and SwedishAmerican in the field of mental health care.
“The work of Rosecrance, SwedishAmerican, Rockford Memorial Hospital, Crusader Clinic and the new Northwest Crisis Care System has drawn positive attention on mental health services. As a community, it seems we’ve finally recognized that our loved ones, friends and neighbors sometimes need help and that we need to have the best help possible. We may never eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness, but it seems we’re starting to chip away at it.”
