Residential services

Residential treatment is a first step toward a life in recovery. Our intensive residential program has the capacity to serve 32 individuals. Clients will engage in group and individual therapy; experiential therapies that may include art, music and yoga; and family programming including group and individual counseling. Our goal is to help adults find passion and purpose in life after treatment.

Spiritual exploration and 12-Step programming are integral to what we do, creating a meaningful foundation to sustain recovery. Other aspects of residential treatment include educational sessions, life skills groups, discharge planning, and relapse prevention. The average stay is approximately 30 days.

Family involvement

Family support is a key component in helping our clients live their best lives. We understand that substance abuse affects everyone in the family. For this reason, we encourage family members to not only stay involved, but to participate throughout treatment and the recovery process.

Recovery residence

For those who have completed treatment but need a supported transition during early recovery, Rosecrance on Moreland is a unique option. As the only licensed recovery home in the region, our residence has the capacity for 12 residents in fully furnished, shared apartments. Living in the community creates a feeling of connection with others who are experiencing many of the same daily challenges. Residents have more freedom to be out in the community as they pursue jobs and/or school, but still have the benefit of a structured, supportive environment.

Life skills

A key focus of our program is development of life skills such as budgeting, cooking, time management, school planning, and job searching. Recovery activities include 12-Step meetings, family activities, and alternative social events that foster progress toward a drug- and alcohol-free life. Addiction isolates the individual. At Rosecrance on Moreland, recovery creates community.

Expression

Experiential therapy is a proven component of a comprehensive treatment plan. Art can be the expression of an individual journey, a chance to practice mindfulness, or the exploration of a healthy new activity.

Wellness

Part of living in community, whether residential treatment or recovery living, is breaking bread together. Good food in a comfortable setting fosters conversation and connection in a relaxed environment.

Spirituality is at the core of recovery and the 12-Step program. Our beautiful non-denominational chapel is a quiet place for prayer or meditation as well as a setting for group or individual therapy.
