Josh Koshiol, MS, LCPC, CADC is a clinical therapist at Rosecrance Therapies in Warrenville who provides individual counseling and facilitates intensive outpatient (IOP) mental health groups. He joined Rosecrance in April 2026. Koshiol works with individuals ages 14 and older, with a primary focus on first responders and union workers navigating mental health and substance use concerns. He utilizes evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT), and motivational interviewing, while integrating additional modalities as needed to support each client’s goals. His clinical experience includes working with substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions such as bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety. He also specializes in addressing relationship concerns, grief and loss, and trauma-related challenges, including PTSD. Koshiol is passionate about helping clients navigate key life transitions, including starting college, marriage, parenthood, and coping with grief. He is committed to creating a supportive environment where clients can build resilience and work toward meaningful change. He earned a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from National Louis University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts and an Associate of Science in Human Services/Addiction Counseling. In his role at Rosecrance, Koshiol values the opportunity to connect with clients through both individual therapy and group work, helping them build skills and find support in their recovery and mental health journeys.
