Endia McDonald is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in Illinois. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Illinois University and her Master of Science in Nursing from DePaul University. With several years of experience in outpatient psychiatry, McDonald is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that honors each individual’s unique path to mental wellness. McDonald’s approach to care is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for patient autonomy. She recognizes that mental health is influenced by a complex combination of biological, psychological, and social factors, and she values creating space for individuals to share their stories and feel heard throughout the treatment process. She provides care for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, attachment disorders, body dysmorphic disorder, borderline personality disorder, schizoaffective disorder, and substance use concerns, including alcoholism. McDonald offers clear, thoughtful recommendations and works alongside individuals to support informed decision-making, fostering a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth. Outside of work, McDonald enjoys yoga, traveling, and indulging in her favorite guilty pleasure—chocolate. Known for her calm presence, she looks forward to continued learning and growth in her role.
