Rosecrance Jackson Centers celebrates 50 years of hope, recovery, and community in Siouxland
Founded in August 1976 by Dr. William “Bill” Jackson and his wife, Marienne, Rosecrance Jackson Centers began as a pioneering program created to address a lack of addiction treatment services for adolescents.
Rosecrance Jackson Centers is celebrating five decades of transforming lives and strengthening the Siouxland community.
Founded in August 1976 by Dr. William “Bill” Jackson and his wife, Marienne, Rosecrance Jackson Centers began as a pioneering program created to address a lack of addiction treatment services for adolescents. Today, it has grown into a comprehensive behavioral health organization providing addiction treatment, prevention, and mental health services to individuals and families throughout Siouxland and beyond.
For five decades, generations of individuals and families have walked through its doors seeking help and hope. They have found compassionate care, dignity, and support grounded in the belief that recovery is possible.
“Rosecrance Jackson Centers has been fortunate to be surrounded by people who believe deeply in the power of recovery; from the vision of Bill and Marienne Jackson to the staff, families, community partners and supporters who have carried that vision forward,” said Julie Enockson, president of Rosecrance Jackson Centers. “This milestone belongs to all of them, and we’re honored to celebrate the lasting difference they have made in the lives of people throughout Siouxland.”
To commemorate this milestone, Rosecrance Jackson Centers will celebrate 50 years of hope, recovery, and community during its 50th Anniversary event, held in partnership with the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce’s Rush Hour Connect.
The celebration will honor the people who have shaped the organization’s journey, including current and former staff, community partners, supporters, and, most importantly, the individuals and families who have entrusted Rosecrance Jackson Centers with their care.
“As we reflect on five decades of impact, this anniversary is also an opportunity to look ahead to a future where more people can access compassionate, innovative behavioral health care and find a path toward lasting recovery,” Enockson said.
Join this milestone celebration from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Sept. 10, at Rosecrance Jackson Centers, 3500 W. Fourth Street in Sioux City.
