Livia L. Klein, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Rosecrance Aspen Counseling. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychoeducation, supportive psychotherapy, and evidence-based, trauma-informed care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Klein takes a patient-centered approach that emphasizes shared decision-making, recovery-oriented goals, and helping clients build practical coping skills while improving their overall functioning and quality of life. Her clinical experience includes caring for individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions across the lifespan.

Before joining Aspen Counseling in 2026, Klein served as a medical provider at Rosecrance Harrison Campus and Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus, where she cared for clients in detoxification and residential treatment. Her work with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders inspired her to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and become board certified as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

Klein earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner specialization from Walden University, a Master of Science in Nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Northern Illinois University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lewis University. As part of her doctoral work, she completed a published project focused on attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

Klein finds the greatest fulfillment in supporting clients throughout their recovery journey and celebrating their progress as they work toward healthier, more meaningful lives.
