Steve Smith , M.S., LCPC

Steve Smith is a healthcare executive with more than 15 years of experience across the medical, dental, and mental health care fields. Smith brings a strong background in nonprofit leadership, clinical supervision, budget management, and organizational culture. He earned his master’s in counseling from National Louis University. Smith joined Rosecrance in 2005 and has served in both direct care and leadership roles across adult and adolescent programs. Throughout his tenure, he has helped launch and expand a number of key initiatives, including specialized services for young adults, the integration of community mental health services into Rosecrance, and the development of residential mental health services for youth at the Griffin Williamson Campus. After a period away, Smith returned to Rosecrance, continuing his commitment to advancing innovative, patient-centered care. A committed servant leader, Smith is deeply passionate about strengthening systems of care and improving access to high-quality, compassionate services for individuals, families, and communities.
