Rosecrance Behavioral Health welcomes industry leader Bob Poznanovich as strategic advisor
Rosecrance Behavioral Health is pleased to welcome Bob Poznanovich, a nationally recognized leader in addiction recovery, behavioral health innovation, and workplace mental health, as a strategic advisor for the organization.
Poznanovich brings more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of leadership, advocacy, and advancement in behavioral health. His career began with his own recovery journey, which inspired a lifelong mission to expand access to compassionate, evidence-based care.
“I started hearing about Rosecrance early in my own recovery journey—from people in meetings or families who needed help,” Poznanovich said. “Every time I referred someone to Rosecrance, they received great care and streamlined access to treatment. That’s what they do best.”
Poznanovich is now helping Rosecrance continue its century-long legacy of excellence while positioning for the future of behavioral healthcare. His work includes initiatives to expand access, fortify partnerships, and integrate innovative technologies across treatment systems.
“I see my role as helping Rosecrance build on 100 years of success—adding new technology, fresh perspective, and outside visibility to strengthen what already works,” he said. “My goal is to find incremental gains across the service lines—new ways to package and promote what Rosecrance already does so well—so we can add even more value to the communities we serve, our referral sources, and our strategic partners.”
Poznanovich’s collaboration supports Rosecrance’s continued growth across mental health, substance use, and eating disorder services.
“Bob Poznanovich is one of the best in the business when it comes to strengthening care delivery and expanding access,” said Dave Gomel, CEO of Rosecrance Behavioral Health. “We’re fortunate to have his expertise and perspective as we continue advancing our mission to serve more people.”
“As we look to the future of behavioral healthcare, it’s essential that we continue to innovate while staying grounded in our century-long legacy of compassion and excellence,” said Gomel. “His insight and experience will help us do exactly that.”
Throughout his work with Rosecrance, Poznanovich will help strengthen relationships to further expand access and reduce barriers to care.
“By bringing together workplaces, technology providers, and Rosecrance’s clinical excellence, we can make all ships rise,” Poznanovich said. “It’s a great opportunity I have to support both mission and margin.”
Poznanovich added that his vision is as much about communication as it is about growth.
“Rosecrance is doing things nobody else is doing,” he said. “They are already doing what the future of the behavioral health industry needs to do—we just need to let more people know about it. Rosecrance has been leading with integrity and innovation for a century. It’s time we share that story more boldly with the world.”
