Caroline Golko, M.S.W, LCSW
TherapistCaroline Golko, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to serving frontline workers, military personnel, safety-sensitive professionals, and their families. Her passion for this work stems from lived experience and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by those in high-stress, service-driven professions. Golko earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology/Sociology with a minor in Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Social Work with a specialization in Military Culture and Mental Health/Trauma from Dominican University. As a clinician, Golko is currently focused on building and expanding the resilience programming at Rosecrance, designed to strengthen emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and connection among frontline and safety sensitive professionals. Her therapeutic work integrates evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and grounding techniques—within a client-centered and trauma-informed framework. Golko believes that showing up and being consistent are the cornerstones of healing and that her role as a therapist is to be who she needed when she was younger, an unapologetic voice for anyone who needs an advocate. She is passionate about creating spaces where clients can safely unpack their experiences, develop resilience, and rediscover meaning and purpose in both their professional and personal lives. Outside of her clinical work, Golko enjoys spending time with her first responder family, being outdoors, grounding herself while tending to her plant collection, hanging out with her dogs, dancing, and being silly—all while raising her daughter to be a fierce and loving advocate, and cheering on her stepsons as they reach new milestones in young adulthood.
