Alumni Workshop Series: "Emotional Relapse and Recovery"

Rosecrance alumni presented "Emotional Relapse and Recovery" with David Lee at the Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus September 6, 2014. Lee provided attendees with an outstanding presentation on relapse and recovery. Lee explained how substance abusers continue to use despite negative consequences due to avoiding uncomfortable feelings, things and events. Lee encouraged participants to step out of their comfort zones daily to enrich their recovery.

Rosecrance Alumni Family Fall Campfire

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED

Rosecrance alumni will be hosting a Family Fall Campfire for our alumni and their families Saturday, November 1, 2014. The Campfire will be held at Bishop Lane Retreat Center. The festivities will begin at 6:00 pm and all are welcome. Please bring your lawn chairs, warm blankets and your stories of help, hope and recovery. We will be enjoying the usual campfire snacks: apple donuts, s'mores, hot apple cider and hot chocolate.

Even if Mother Nature does not cooperate, this event will take place; the fun will be taken inside!

About 20 alumni, family, friends and staff enjoyed an afternoon of bowling, pizza and laughter at the Naperville Alumni Bowling Event September 6, 2014.

Alumni Cafe Support Groups

Rosecrance alumni are welcome to attend and share what's happening in their lives today. Support your fellow alumni with your experience, strength and hope. Find fellowship and fun from the friends who held you up when your recovery first began.

New Alumni Cafe Support Group - Lincoln Park, IL

Rosecrance alumni will have another opportunity to network and share their recovery in an informal group setting beginning October 16. The Lincoln Park Alumni Cafe Support Group will be held every 3rd Thursday of the month from 7:00 to 8:00 pm at the Rosecrance Lincoln Park office located at 2835 N Sheffield Ave., Ste 209, Chicago, IL 60657-5083. ROSECRANCE NAPERVILLE ALUMNI CAFE SUPPORT GROUP

ROSECRANCE ROCKFORD ALUMNI CAFE SUPPORT GROUP

Rosecrance Naperville Alumni Cafe meets every first Thursday of the month from 7 pm to 8 pm at the Community Christian Church (Yellow Box Church), 1635 Emerson Lane, Naperville, IL 60540. We encourage you to come early to network with other alumni.

Rosecrance Rockford Alumni Cafe meets every 2nd Thursday of the month and every 3rd Monday of the month at the Harrison Campus, 3815 Harrison Ave, Rockford, IL. Alumni meet from 6 to 7 pm, but you are encouraged to come early to network.
