Upcoming workshops address question of ‘Why Families Wait’

Rosecrance invites professionals to “Why Families Wait to Intervene on a Substance Abuser: A Systemic Look at Enabling,” a workshop that will be held Nov. 8; March 14, 2013; and April 11, 2013; in Rockford, Crystal Lake and Chicago.

The workshop will be hosted by David Lee, founder of Indiana-based Intervention Services and Technologies, Inc. Lee has more than 10 years of experience in interventions, addiction counseling, family systems and recovery. He will help professionals understand why families are unable to help a substance abuser get healthy or seek treatment without outside intervention. The goal of the workshop is to help attendees learn new ways to work with substance abusers and their families.

At each location, registration is from 8:30 to 9 a.m., and the workshop is from 9 to 11 a.m. Admission is free, but seating is limited. For more information, email us here.
