In honor of recovery month, Rosecrance New Life is hosting a recovery month celebration on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at the Paul Revere Square Courtyard (2322 E Kimberly Rd) in Davenport, Iowa.
The potluck celebration is open to the public and will include a potluck, barbecue, live music, and games with the recovery community and their families to celebrate National Recovery Month!
Recovery Month is a national observance held every September to educate Americans on recovery and substance use and mental health treatment services.
“Recovery is not rare,” says Austin Gross, Rosecrance Regional Manager. “Treatment works and millions of individuals have achieved recovery and lead productive, healthy lives. This celebration is to honor the courage, hard-work and heart of those individuals and bring awareness to a topic that is often not talked about enough.”
