Thomas Wright, MD, Addictionologist

Chief Medical Officer/Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs

Dr. Thomas Wright oversees all medical operations for Rosecrance. He specializes in working with adolescents who have a co-existing or secondary diagnosis in addition to an addiction disorder. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the field and is certified as a child and adolescent psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Wright is also certified in addiction medicine by the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He served on the faculty at Northwestern Medical College in Chicago and at The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago and Rockford. Dr. Wright is a regular conference presenter and has been recognized as a medical educator and leader in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Wright received the Clinician of the Year award for clinical excellence from Addiction Professional in 2015. He joined Rosecrance in 2005.

Alvydas J. Baris, MD, Addictionologist

Physician

Dr. Alvydas “Al” Baris is a physician at the Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus. He received his medical degree from Rush Medical College. He is board-certified in family practice and is also certified as an addictionologist by the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Baris has more than 31 years of experience in family practice and emergency medicine. He has been with Rosecrance for more than 15 years.


Therese Lucietto-Sieradzki, MD

Dr. Therese Lucietto-Sieradski is a physician for Rosecrance. She received her medical degree from Northwestern University.

Joseph Neubauer, MD, ABAM

Dr. Joseph Neubauer is a physician for Rosecrance. He received his medical degree from Rush Medical College. He is board-certified in addiction medicine. Dr. Neubauer treats clients at the Harrison Campus, both in the detox and residential settings, and provides medication-assisted therapy. Additionally, he oversees care plans at Rosecrance Lakeview.

 

 


 

Psychiatrists

Adrienne Adams, MD

Medical Director of Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus

Dr. Adrienne Adams oversees clinical treatment and care at the Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus. She received her medical degree from Wayne State University, completed her general psychiatry residency and child and adolescent fellowship training at the University of Illinois-Chicago, and earned a master’s degree in clinical research from Rush University. Dr. Adams has over 15 years of experience in clinical care, administration, and education. She has served on the Illinois Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry board for many years, and served as the first African American female president in the chapter. She is chair for the Diversity and Inclusion Committee for the Association of Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training. She also is a counselor-at-large for the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and a trustee for the Illinois Psychiatric Society.

Raymond Garcia, MD

Medical Director of Rosecrance Harrison Campus

Dr. Raymond Garcia oversees clinical treatment and care at the Rosecrance Harrison Adult Campus. He is board-certified in psychiatry and neurology, licensed in Illinois, a member of Illinois Psychiatric Society and a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Garcia is also a board-certified Addictionologist by the American Board of Addiction Medicine, ABAM. Dr. Garcia is on faculty at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, where he has received the Golden Apple, Mentor of the Year, and Distinguished Teaching Awards. He joined Rosecrance in 2009.

 


Jorge Fernald, MD

Dr. Jorge Fernald is a psychiatrist for Rosecrance. He received his medical degree from Rush Medical College.

Shahina Jafry, MD

Dr. Shahina Jafry is a psychiatrist for Rosecrance. Her areas of expertise include managing premenstrual dysphoric disorder, psychiatric disorders during pregnancy and postpartum period. She treats adolescents and adults for PTSD, ADHD, depression, psychosis, anxiety, bipolar disorder, dementia with behavioral disturbances, and other chronic psychiatric disorders.

Amy Young, MS, APN, FNP-BC

Amy Young is an advanced practice nurse who provides high quality care for adults and adolescents at Rosecrance. Her responsibilities include thoroughly assessing, diagnosing and treating all illnesses, providing education for staff and clients on medical conditions and substance abuse, and working independently as well as functioning as a member of the medical team.
