Types of donations

  • Gifts of money
    Gifts may be cash, checks or electronic transfer of funds. If you itemize on your tax return, as a donor you are entitled to a federal income tax deduction.
  • Gifts of stocks
    A gift of appreciated securities — including stocks, bonds and mutual funds — is deductible for income tax purposes and eliminates the capital gains tax owed. Investments worth less than your cost may be sold and the proceeds used to make a charitable gift.We have an account with RBC Wealth Management (DTC #0235 A/C #30684290 in the name of The Rosecrance Foundation, EIN 36-4167891) to facilitate the transfer of stocks, bonds, mutual funds and other securities.   • Bequests or other planned gifts
    You may leave a lasting legacy to Rosecrance by designating the Rosecrance Foundation as a beneficiary of your will or trust. It can be a gift for a specific amount or a percentage of your estate. Click here to learn more.
