The Monarch program teaches life skills through day to day activities. During their six to twelve month stay, the adolescent boys and girls participate in school and/or jobs, develop budgeting, job hunting, time management and relationship building skills, and take part in social, recreational and physical activities that build the mind, body, and spirit.  Through this gender-specific program the adolescents learn to overcome the unique barriers that hinder them from engaging in lasting recovery. Residents must have successfully completed a treatment program to qualify for admission.

These long-term programs (6-24 months) are designed to provide structure, ongoing support and safety, independent living skills and counseling in a drug-free environment. Up to 12 adolescents reside in each home. The homes are staffed 24 hours per day.
 

Hillman House

This beautifully restored home is located in Rockford, Illinois.

Hillman House was built in the late 1920s and is located on the east side of Rockford. Features of the home include a large living room with fireplace, a formal dining area, a sunroom with water fountain, a second floor family room, art and exercise rooms, and stone deck and patio. Hillman House was renovationed in 2009.

Marlowe House

The Monarch Marlowe House is situated on the south end of the adolescent campus. The Marlowe House residents will be able to enjoy the Serenity Garden and recreational facilities on site. The prairie-style home compliments the residential neighborhood in which it is situated.
