Rosecrance Health Center and
Expanded Services

With the completion of the Rosecrance Harrison Campus expansion project which includes a complete redesign of detoxification services, a medically assisted recovery clinic and the addition of a state-of-the-art fitness center, Rosecrance introduces a new concept in medical treatment for addiction services.

  • The Rosecrance Health Center consolidates medical services under one division in order to better serve the needs of our patients. Physicians, nurses, health specialists, unit technicians and clinical counselors will work together with the patient to ensure that physical and medical needs are met while exploring which treatment route – residential, outpatient or long-term programming – provides the best opportunity for lasting recovery.

A new entrance takes patients directly into the Rosecrance Health Center which has the feel of a health care clinic with a reception desk, waiting room, private family room, and day room all focused on delivering quality service to more people. To meet the demand, the number of beds in this unit was increased by 50% to 24.

  • The Medically Assisted Recovery Clinic (MARC) offers an alternative evidence-based treatment method for patients struggling with an addiction to substances such as heroin, Vicodin and Oxycontin.  Through the controlled, medical use of the drug Suboxone many symptoms that encourage relapse can be relieved quickly and effectively. The Rosecrance approach will combine intensive outpatient treatment in conjunction with medically assisted treatment to provide a comprehensive therapeutic program tailored to the individual.

  • The Fitness Center incorporates another crucial tool for lasting recovery into the patient’s treatment.  Under the guidance of a trained therapeutic recreation specialist, patients receive both education and practical experience in the areas of wellness and fitness.

  • The expanded outpatient wing now houses additional group meeting rooms and private counseling spaces which increases the number of clients who can be served on a regular basis.
