Our adolescent services include:

Prevention Education and Training

Prevention education and training are offered to schools, businesses, churches, families and community organizations.

Assessments

A trained addiction counselor will meet with the adolescent and his/her family to administer a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment based upon nationally accepted criteria. The counselor will then make recommendations based upon the results of the assessment. All information is confidential. Assessments are free of charge and by appointment only.

Outpatient Treatment

Individual, group and family counseling are provided for adolescents with moderate to serious impairment due to chemical use. The level of outpatient care recommended is determined by each individual's needs.

Partial Hospitalization

This level of care allows an adolescent to receive intensive services on site five days a week. The youth continues to live at home during the evenings and on weekends.

Inpatient Treatment

Intensive inpatient programs, based upon individualized treatment planning, offer individual, group and family counseling and education. Programs also include an on-site accredited school with special education teachers and an art teacher; lifeskills and problem-solving groups; recreational and social activities; and an introduction to Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and Cocaine Anonymous. A long-term care program for boys focuses on cognitive and behavioral restructuring in addition to the above programs.

Family Program

Rosecrance believes that the education of both the patient and family/significant others are integral components of individualized care. Rosecrance's commitment to family recovery is promoted through patient and family education and counseling.

Continuing Care

These services include individual and group counseling for adolescents who have completed treatment programs and their parents. Recreational, social and stress challenge activities are provided to enhance positive lifestyle changes.

Alumni Club

Peer support and drug-free social activities are offered through this club for youth who have successfully completed treatment.
